Cathie Bechtell CAD, Ink is available to handle all of your CAD drafting needs including environmental, mechanical, electrical & architectural, with a specialty in the civil engineering/surveying field. In addition, all your Graphic Design and Desktop Publishing needs can be met.

For more than twelve years as Cathie Bechtell CAD, Ink, I have successfully completed work for numerous private companies and public water agencies. My services include quality work completed in my office which is equipped with state of the art equipment and the latest software. Pickup and delivery of all drawings and/or electronic files is provided by me, either in person or by the most efficient current electronic means available to expedite the job. Special arrangements can also be agreed upon if you require your drafting work to be completed in your office.

I am capable of completing all AutoCAD work in the current release, but drawings can be saved to a previous version if necessary. I can also begin the work on drawings in at least 3 previous versions back to maintain compatibility. I use Autodesk's Land Desktop Suite of software to draft Civil Engineering and Land Survey projects along with Autodesk Raster Design for working with aerial or other images  While able to complete nearly any type of drawings, I am particularly proficient in the Civil Engineering and Surveying field. I am extremely skilled in all phases of that type of work, from beginning with raw Survey data, creating surfaces, profiles, improvement plans, grading plans, details, piping, utilities, earthwork volumes, site topographic maps, plot plans, tentative maps, final parcel or subdivision record maps and record of survey maps.

Cathie Bechtell CAD, Ink is ideal for offices that require either part time drafting or extra help during those “busy times“. This provides your company with the freedom of not having to provide benefits or worry about having enough work for full time employment. I can assure you that every effort is made to complete your projects on time and budget along with the quality you expect. All work is completely tailored to your company standards and specifications. If you have paper drawings, I can convert them into CAD files drawn to precise scale using scanned images and Autodesk’s Raster Design software, even to the point of usable data for a terrain model, for example.
